Out of black ink, temporarily need to set color ink as the new default for my HP PhotoSmart C4250? - need a photo cartridge and colored
My printer is completely out of black ink and can not walk into a store to buy black ink prior to close it. I need to print USPS labels online today, but the labels appear only in black and white. Is it possible to configure my printer, that only the color cartridge to print black even for images / documents? Everything is in a unique color and grayscale "No", but since the shipping label is black is to try the printer still print using the black cartridge (which the paper comes out blank). I would like to use dark blue or dark brown. Thank you.

If the color does not matter whether the original color is black, do all the colors that you have a mix of black.
If this is not a black color it is printed only for the work required.
Most printers (HP, Epson) do not let toner cartridge if it has no color. I have never heard a way to deceive.
