Samsung Dvi Rgb Adapter Problem Why Won't My Monitor Detect My Xbox 360 That Is Connected To It?

Why won't my monitor detect my Xbox 360 that is connected to it? - samsung dvi rgb adapter problem

I have a Samsung SyncMaster 213T. It has a DVI-D.

I bought a DVI-I Composite (RGB) and the adapter to my Xbox 360 connected to it. Then I bought a DVI-I to DVI-D and my monitor connected, but I always get a blank black screen. Who knows why this does not work?

For starters ..
DVI-Integrated (DVI-I) supports digital and analog broadcasts. So that you can use a monitor, a digital input or analog input accepts connection to connect. Besides the containers are pin DVI-D for digital, DVI-I is to bear with 4 additional pins or containers into an analog signal.

DVI-Digital (DVI-D) is a digital format. It requires a graphics card with a DVI-D and DVI-D. Connector has 24 pins / containers, in 3 rows of 8, plus a slot to support the country dual-link. To support a single link, the connector has 18 pins / receptacles.

If the 360 is one of the new model with HDMI output can not buy a DVI to HDMI cable.
But if you are one of theolder, would be the only way to get a 360 VGA cable.
Hope this helps.
